The highlights of this update include: 1) new mechanic for adding food from your inventory to nutrient storing structures, 2) discovery book search mechanics, 3) more clarity in how to grow crops and demolish structures, and 4) better HUD button positioning.


Additions/Changes

  • Added in a tutorial explaining the demolishing of buildings to create space for other structures.
  • Added numbers to indicate priority values in the priority page.
  • Add a bucket emoji to plants if plants if they need water and there is no bucket available.
  • Added in the discovery book search mechanics (you can now search through the discovery book for specific items across any category)
  • Added icons to quest rewards to better illustrate that they are in blueprint rewards.
  • Removed the current middle click to icon selection process, restored the double click mechanic but also added in a brightness mechanic to indicate which object will show their info if the double click commences (This does increase the performance costs of the game so I’ll need to do another round of performance optimizations.)
  • Tier Levels in the discovery book now reset to 1 when changing the page.
  • Doubled the spawn chance of aquamarine crystal rocks
  • Added a drag food into structure mechanics from inventory, allowing players to selectively place consumables in structures to raise their food capacity.
  • Add food drag drop tip to demonstrate the process of adding food to structures.
  • Main Hud Buttons (Bottom Left of Screen) now synchronize their positioning as they are introduced from left to right.
  • Inventory now only shows items that you currently possess for better clarity.
  • Changed the set entertainer mission to align with the new priority system.
  • Changed the quest sound upon completion
  • Added more info to the produce orbs mission for a better idea of how to complete the mission.
  • Food in the inventory and discovery book now displays the fullness value per item of that food.

Removals

  • Removed the profession tab page from citizens as its purpose is overlooked by the priority system.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed mission card icon positioning after completing a mission and then scrolling while the mission card icon is visible.
  • Fixed the scout expedition missions, they now correctly count the expeditions.
  • Fixed multiple bees all spawning at one beehive house rather than even distribution.
  • Fixed issue where farmers would get stuck in a loop of watering crops.
