  • Re-added auto-saving at the beginning of each day (when the bells ring)
  • Reduced the rate that your citizens statuses (fullness, hydration, energy, happiness) fall by about 20%
  • Added in a form of permanent progression through created leaders that will survive on throughout each dimension/world.

  • Disabled back to town center button until the tutorial is completed as it causes problems with interface tutorial steps if enabled during the tutorial.
  • Improved the resolution of the main menu wood buttons.
  • Improved sound settings (volume now changes as you are sliding the arrow rather than only when clicking the test button, the test button serves as a way of listening to different tracks at the designated volume)
  • Adjust head gear positioning when citizens are moving to be closer to the center of the citizen
  • When you are in a control state of your created leader you will automatically pick up items that are in range
  • When you are in a control state of your created leader you will automatically deposit items when you are in range of the town center
  • When you are in a control state of your created leader you can press “E” to equip the nearest unequipped gear
  • When you are in a control state of your created leader you can press “X” to equip to activate your primary hand gear if it’s not on cooldown
  • Added control state controls to the control sheet

  • Unique trait durable added: Triples starting hp of your leader.
  • Unique trait comedian added: Reduces happiness loss rate by 30%.
  • Unique trait energy booster added: Reduces energy loss rate by 30%.
  • Unique trait faster learner added: Increases leaders exp gain by 35%.
  • Unique trait leader added: Increases all citizen exp gained by 10%.
  • Unique trait charismatic added: Increases all reputation gained by 20%.
  • Unique trait track star added: Increases movement speed by 25%.
  • Unique trait track coach added: Increases native citizen movement speed by 8%. (native = citizens “born” from the town center)
  • Unique trait for the people added: Increases native citizen max hp by 10%.
  • Added character controls to the control sheet (press the control button on the main menu and go to the last page)
  • Reduced rate of health loss when a status is at 0 to allow enough time to attempt to rescue the citizen. (From 0.5 hp per second to 0.1 hp per second)
  • Improved mage code; specifically support mages.
  • Fixed spell heals mechanics (wasn’t healing properly when casting the spell)

Note this will undoubtedly have some bugs as the addition of created characters, individual character control and loading characters in different dimensions (game files) can be tricky from a technical side amidst the other pre-existing elements. So, if you find any bugs please let me know so I can work to fix them.

Some that I’m already aware of include: 

1. Created characters continuing in running animations while not moving.

2. Camera loses fixation on character when in control of character depending on other interactions using the mouse.

3. Mission Count Text shows up in the wrong positions when the interface is open.

General Need To-Do’s (Among many others): 1. Another round of performance optimization as this new element (character creation introducing more performance costs)

2. Add in mounts to distinguish leaders

3. Improve balance of statuses (while playing I found myself losing quite a few citizens due to a lack of food, water, happiness, etc.

4. Indicators for citizens that are in danger of passing away (maybe a red mark or indicator to indicate to the player that something must be done soon to remedy the situation).

5. Improve z axis/ layer order, especially for equipped gear. For example, many times a citizen’s pants are covering up their hand gear when the pants should be behind the gear.
